Powder coated aluminum
Clean aluminum with water and a soft, non-abrasive cloth.
In some cases, adding a mild detergent to the water may help.

Remove excess water.
 Mild environment
In the countryside, away from the coast and remote industrial and urban activities. Clean aluminum every 6 months.
medium environment
Predominantly urban, inland and away from heavy industrial activity. Clean the aluminum every 3 months.
 Tropical/Harsh Environment
Coastal/marine, subject to salt deposits, within 15km of the east coast or 10km of the west coast of Australia. Clean aluminum every 2-4 weeks.
 Glass
Clean the glass with water and a soft, non-abrasive cloth. In some cases, glass cleaning fluid may be of some benefit. Always follow the manufacturer's instructions. Do not use harsh chemical cleaners. When using glass cleaning fluid, make sure the surface is rinsed well to remove any residue.
Make sure to remove excess water. Take extra care when cleaning low-e glass. Avoid damaging the coating; doing so will affect the performance of the glass. Clean the glass 3-4 times a year. Shower screen glass needs weekly cleaning to remove soap stains. These stains will slowly corrode the glass, permanently damaging it.
 Hardware
All hardware requires regular maintenance such as handles, locks, hinges, strikers, door closers, etc.
Clean the exterior surfaces with water and a soft, non-abrasive cloth. A light spray of lubricant (WD40, RP7, or similar) will keep the hardware in good working order. Check the screws on the hinges and fixings to make sure they are not loose.
 Track
Use a vacuum or brush to remove excess dirt or grit from windows, doors, or closet door tracks.
Make sure the drain holes in the window and door tracks are not blocked. Wipe the track with water and a soft, non-abrasive cloth. Clean the track 3-4 times a year.
 Door and window roller
Remove sliding panels from windows or doors. Remove the rollers from the sliding panels. Clean the rollers with water and a soft, non-abrasive cloth. Clean the rollers 3-4 times a year.
